What is the fluid doing to the nozzle
Caustics, solvents and abrasive slurries all fail different materials first. Material choice comes before pattern choice.
How much flow at what pressure
Flow scales with the square root of pressure, so a nozzle that works at 3 bar behaves differently at 8. We size against your real line pressure.
How big is the vessel or the target
Tank cleaning is chosen by reach and impact, not by thread size. Coverage diameter drives the machine class.
What happens when the pump stops
Dripping, clogging and carry-over show up in service, not on the datasheet. Anti-drip and strainer choices belong in the spec.
